KE is sthe same (fans are identical, they "inject" the same amount of energy into each system) Momentum is the simple product of mass and velocity. Since Ek=mvv/2, and M=mv, then M is smaller for the one system with the lower velocity, i.e. red.
Believe whatever you want. Doesn’t mean it’s true.
It is also fair to say that God laughs at the fake science shoveled out to an unthinking public.
Strings different lengths
Starting it will be 3V if you leave the leads connected it will very slow increase as the capacitor changes
the 2nd time he covers the lens, the image starts to be lost at the bottom. instead of just 'dimmer' perhaps his focal point is very low on the lens.
With electrical neutrality of water caused by a mix of cations and anions, how do you know which way it will turn? Is it something to do with the relative molecular weight of elements and charged compounds?
Science doesn’t care about what you believe. Dielectricity, magnetism and electricity are all aether modalities. Believing in the photon is as silly as believing in the phonon, the sound particle. It’s materialism of the gaps to say photons exist. It’s a contraction in the aether.
Same as 2 hours If wind slow down from one side Wind will make fast on other side
Can you show the math on that, because it doesn't work out that way.
Ghost voltage , no proper reference , this is what you get.
3v subtract 0
3volts.
Wouldn't they be the same? Mass times velocity? One is twice as heavy and the other is moving twice as fast... so I'd say it's equal.
Both sides should be at the same level though to understand the pull speed implication of this magnificent experiment.
It would be a good demo if we could see the magnet.
3 volts because an uncharged capacitor is equivalent to 0V source (treat it as a shorting wire), the circuit is not closed so there is no current, so no voltage drop on the resistor -- thus the entire 3V from the voltage source will be present between switch terminals
Great question. I'll say the short section with the light bulb will show ghost voltage on the switch end, 3V, but the number of electrons is so low, voltage instantly drops to zero when the switch is closed. With nowhere to go, the electrons trapped in the section of wire with the bulb shift away from the negatively charged plate to the switch end, but have nowhere to go. When switch is closed, electrons find the path back to the battery, voltage across the plate grows and the light briefly glows.
Meanwhile me over here like why didn't he use the rod for the first one?
Wanker
You will short circuit the circuit with the volt meter, so the voltage will rise very slowly.
Take the beam and point it east and mark the spot, then rotate the beam pointing west and note the beam position. It will be in a different position because of the earth’s magnetic field.
Same as CRT oscilloscope??
Okay why I've never seen anyone or anything about this before, that's mind blowing to learn
You need to honour the scientist too Lorentz force
I know it since single digit age. Heavy things don't change places easily however the first experiment was so obvious and we don't need to be very smart to actually understand that the weight of the steel was actually already pulling the string. Having said that it's very obvious that the top string will be broken first. However to overcome that dilemma you can just increase the diameter of your upper string
I love physics ❤
I... UNDERSTAND.... NOTHING
THE WATER HAS MOST FORCE... THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN EARTH IS GOING UP.....
Cosx * Sinx = Sin2x Sin2*45=sin90=1
connecting the meter made the cap charge
No circuit diagram and is that being used as a voltmeter in series ??
I didn't even realize this was in question 😅
Since the mass of the block is the same in both scenarios the amount of force is the same.
0V
The capacitor acts as an open. It’s zero volts dc
I said "what's d'ouss grey mass?"
The same... its traveling 100mph regardless
100 mph AIRSPEED. Find the groundspeed, then try again.
the load from the meter caused the voltage to rise
My answer is 3 volts still, it's still a direct current from the battery to the switch
Cool!!!!!!!
This is a rather poorly done video. You should point out each component very clearly on your circuit board & also exactly where you are connecting your meter leads. As it is, I can't make heads or tails out of your components & wiring (except the meter & the battery). For all I can tell, you are closing the circuit across the switch with your meter leads.
It is fully described in the previous video.
It's very clear, what was ambiguous for you?
Remember that the impedance of a multimeter is 10 million ohms. The video is perfect, the problem is your knowledge base is not matched to the material. One of the hardest things for a teacher to do is to guide a class of students with broad variance in background. Here on the 'net, you'll never satisfy everybody. There is already a plethora of beginner videos out there, what's missing is the next level.
@@spelunkerd A. He's not measuring impedance of the circuit. B. The actual resistance depends on which mode the meter is in. C. While it is true that when measuring V, the meter does provide a resistance that is >1 Mohm, that is besides the points that I made.
@@wernerheizenberg There is no link to the purported other video when I'm watching short vids...
VSAUCE OF PHYSICS !❤🎉
k but space is a vacuum so how does that apply to the water you afe talking about?
You could have blown everyone's minds if you had also covered up the bottom half to see that nothing happens.
This is a good physics teacher, until administration gets involved along with liberal teachers and force him to take out the math, then words and then the experiments.
Same
Nope. Do the math, you'll see why it can't be the same.
You may be right, but for my observation, I noticed that the first string broke because you reduced the length of the bottom string when you used your second hand to pull a little bit close to the weight. By reducing its length, you increase the tension on it.
Drowning in a space pool.
Question is clear though but whats the answer,we need details
My thinking is that the same energy is imparted to both (same fan power and time), so their final kinetic energies would be the same. Since kinetic energy increases with the square of speed, the red sled would have only one quarter the speed at the end, so it would have less momentum, even though its mass is greater.
I guess I'm assuming that the fans are equally efficient across a range of speeds, which probably isn't true.
Yeah it is
